Geronimo Golf Course at Desert Mountain Club
Geronimo Golf Course at Desert Mountain Club
Geronimo is one of the most scenic golf courses at Desert Mountain. It has been described by Jack Nicklaus as “the strong looking course”. Geronimo is perhaps the most visually intimidating of the six courses.
The 7420 yard Geronimo course features large elevation changes, dramatic ravines and plateaus. The drama of Geronimo is visible from the first hole, a stunning 570-yard par five with a large elevation drop to a broad fairway. The next few holes deceptively lead the golfer to believe it is a gentle course but the back nine surely changes that impression. The last hole is a 160-yard, par 3 that requires an exacting shot over a canyon to a two-tiered green between sand bunkers.
